Merced County Mosquito Abatement District will be treating the following areas for adult mosquitoes by airplane:

Merced

Atwater

Winton

Livingston

Delhi

Hilmar

 

The Merced County Mosquito Abatement District has contracted with VDCI Aerial Services to conduct an aerial application to reduce adult mosquito populations. The application will be made using twin-engine aircraft provided by VDCI and will occur this Tuesday, the 8rd of September. The application will begin shortly after sunset and will target the entire cities of Atwater, Merced, Winton, Hilmar, Livingston, and Delhi. The aircraft will fly directly over these cities at an altitude between 200 and 300 feet.
