Merced County Mosquito Abatement District will be treating the following areas for adult mosquitoes by ground:

Merced – inside city limits

Gustine - inside city limits

Planada – inside city limits

Dos Palos- inside city limits

Merced County-at-large – Technicians will be providing treatments at various locations throughout the county and treating individual service requests.

The Merced County Mosquito Abatement District has contracted with VDCI Aerial Services to conduct an aerial application to reduce adult mosquito populations. The application will be made using a twin-engine aircraft provided by VDCI and will occur this Thursday, the 17th of September.  The application will begin shortly after sunset and will target the entire cities of Los Banos and Gustine.  The aircraft will fly directly over these cities at an altitude of 300 feet.
