Merced County Mosquito Abatement District will be treating the following areas by ground for invasive Aedes aegypti mosquitoes: Atwater – area south of Bellevue, north of Mitchell and Juniper, east of Canal, and west of 5th St.
The Merced County Mosquito Abatement District will be conducting aerial spraying regarding mosquito population reduction with our twin engine aircraft Piper Aztec, targeting: Merced: along Dickenson Ferry from Thorton to Gurr then north to HWY 140. Stevinson: along Second Ave from Cemetery Rd to Lander Ave. Los Banos: along Henry Miller from Volta Rd.to Terceira then south to Cotton Rd. Gustine: along Whitworth from HWY 140 to Worthington then east to Kniebes. Along Santa Fe Grade from HWY 140 to the county line.
Merced County Mosquito Abatement District will be treating the following areas for adult mosquitoes by ground:
Merced – inside city limits
Hilmar – inside city limits
Los Banos – inside city limits
Winton – inside city limits
Dos Palos – inside city limits
Planada – inside city limits
Merced County-at-large – Technicians will be providing treatments at various locations throughout the county and treating individual service requests.
Spraying is subject to cancellation if surface winds exceed 10 mph
